Windshield Wiper Arm Removal
Question:
I have a damaged windshield wiper arm. I would like to replace it myself but I am unsure how to go about doing this. Any advice you might have would be appreciated.
Answer:
You should be able to pop the cap off at the pivot point. You may need to use the edge of a flat blade screwdriver. Once you have carefully removed the cap, you will see a retaining nut (generally 13mm). Remove the nut by turning your ratchet counter-clockwise. Remove the windshield wiper arm. If it does not slide off easily you will need to use a battery terminal removal tool to finish the removal. DO NOT use a pry bar or you may damage the glass windshield.
