The Econoline van from Ford has a 50 year solid reputation as a functional and effective van in the Ford line up. It has been renamed as the E-Series and has the ability to transport passengers, cargo as well as tow heavy objects of upt to 10,000 pounds. When it comes to looks, the Econoline is no-nonsense and no-frills with a square front that resembles that of a truck. The front grille is square and bold for an edgy look. ford f150 burbank has a great selection of new autos.

Since the Ford E-Series offers towing capacity it uses a very strong engine; buyers have the option the base V8 or can upgrade to the powerful V10. The base engine puts out 225 hp and 286 lb feet of torque. The top of the live V10 puts out 305 hp and 420 lb feet of torque. If you plan on doing lots of towing the V10 is highly recommended. If you plan on driving lots of people around then the mid-level 5.4 Liter V8 would be a good option; this engine is a step up from the base model. Handling is not the best; however the E-series is not intended for high performance racing but for hauling lots of people and cargo around.

There’s lots of rooms to customize this vehicle to your own whims and preferences. A few of the possibilities to add include Ford’s advanced Sync system, a navigation system with turn by turn directions. One very useful and rather unique option is Ford’s Work Solutions System which comes with a computer than can be used inside the van with an internet connection. This allows business owners to work while on the road. The second row of seats can be removed if you want extra space. This will also result in improved mileage since the vehicle will be lighter.

Another cool feature is the three powerpoints which allows you to charge your laptop even while on the road. Safety features include front air bags, four wheel anti lock brakes and stability control. A reverse sensing system is place which lets you know if there are objects behind you when you are reversing.

What the E-series brings to the table is flexibility; it can move around lots of people, haul tons of cargo plus it can do some heavy duty towing. The 2011 E-Series is priced to sell at around twenty eight thousand bucks.

It may be hard to find transportation if you have a really large family yet still want to ride in style. Most minivans are on the boring side but the Chevy Suburban offers stylish good looks combined with functionality and ample of seating space. Keep in mind though that this auto uses a lot of gas, but what can you expect from a vehicle that can haul around up to 8-9 people?

Let’s take a look at the two engine choices available. The six cylinder with 352 hp and 382 lb feet of torque is more than enough for every day driving and provides for quite a burst of power when accelerating and merging on the freeway. For those who plan to tow often and like a strong engine there is the V8 6.0 Liter which puts put 320 hp and 382 lb feet of torque. The standard six cylinder engine gets a total of 10 mpg in the city and 16 mpg on the freeway. Not very good figures but keep in mind that the Suburban is a very large car.

Bluetooth integration is available which allows you to place calls while keeping your hands on the steering wheel. The front seats are power adjustable and a handy climate control system with dual zones is in place. Opt for the LT trim and your seats will be decked out in leather trim. You will also get a Bose system with nine speakers for your listening pleasure. If you’ve got the cash, the top of the LTZ comes with temperature controlled seats, twenty inch, a touch screen navigation radio and a rearview camera (which makes backing up a lot safer and easier). There is a liftgate available which is really handy when you have lots of heavy items to lift up or down.

Engineers have equipped the Suburban with a ton of safety features. A vehicle anti theft system comes standard while Stabilitrak Electronic Stability Control works to maintain stability. Trunk size is extremely vast; a total of 45.8 cubic feet of cargo space is available which can be expanded to 137.4 cubic feet with the third row of seats removed and the second row folded down. Chevy Traverse Orange County has a large selection of cars in Costa Mesa, Irvine and Westminster.

If you a large family then the Suburban would be ideal; it seats a large number of people in style. It’s also a lot better looking that the average mini van. Pricing starts at around $41k and may increase depending on the trim and options selected.

Electric cars are relatively new; they have been on the market for around half a year now. The two main players on the market so far appear to be the Nissan Leaf and the Chevrolet Volt. When we look at facts and figures, it appears as if the Volt is selling in much higher quantities when compared with the Leaf. In March Chevrolet announced that sales of the Volt would rise in May and that they expected that 10,000 Volts would be delivered by the end of the year. Porsche Boxter Las Vegas offers a large selection of luxury cars.

In order for these vehicles to really take off there needs to be many more charging stations installed across the nation so people can easily recharge; stations should ideally be as prevalent as regular fuel stations. However, home charging stations are also available at an extra cost; these stations allow quick and convenient charging.

The electric grid needs to be upgraded so that it can take on the thousands or even millions of electric cars some people expect to be on the road someday. Moreover, major cities are locating charging stations in parking lots and parking structures, in malls and in other locations where people frequent, but as of now, there are not enough of them.

Many people are also hesitant of a vehicle with a mileage range of around a few hundred miles. Many of us drive long distances to work and a car with a mileage range just would not be useful. Range would need to be extended in order to appeal to lots of people.

One reason why the Volt has been selling better is due to the fact that it does not have a range limitation at all. The engine works a generator so that the car can continue the trip. As a result drivers aren’t plagued by range anxiety.

One electric auto that stands out from the rest of the crowd due to looks and power is the Fisker which is produced by Karma. It’s extremely exotic looking in terms of appearance and emphasizes performance. It can be driven in Sport and Stealth mode. It has a top speed of 95 mph in the Stealth mode and zooms from zero to sixty in just under eight seconds. The Sports Mode has a top speed of 125 mph. Performance like this doesn’t come cheap though. The base price starts at around the eighty thousand dollar mark.

Buick is generally not known for its sporty cars but that all might change with the introduction of the Regal. This vehicle combines luxury with sportiness at an affordable price. There is currently just one model available; the CXL, which is the upper level trim and the option to select the standard or the more powerful turbo engine.

The turbo charged engine is a four cylinder that features Direct Injection and Variable Valve Timing. The turbo charged version outputs 220 hp and 258 lb feet of torque. A drive control system is in place which allows the driver to select from various driving modes. Standard is great for every day driving, Tour for long distances and Sport for a performance oriented drive.

Mileage for the turbo model stands at 28 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the interstate. The standard engine offers more than enough power for regular driving; the more powerful engine is only suggested for those who want extra power. The Regal Turbo is equipped with additional extras including ultrasonic rear parking assist and available 19″ wheels.

The Regal is well insulated and stays ultra quiet, even at high speeds. High quality materials have been used throughout and the dashboards and instruments are all intuitive and easy to use. There are two options available when it comes to interior colors; beige and brown.

The backseats are quite spacious while the front seats are comfortable and easy to sink into. The CXL model is equipped with features such as a stereo system with a USB port, Bluetooth and satellite radio. The Regal garnered high scores during safety tests conducted by the IIHS. Used GMC St Louis offers great deals on vehicles in the St Louis area.

The large SUV niche is a competitive one but the Ford Expedition stands out from the crowd by offering exceptional storage room and plenty of seating for up to eight passengers. Few SUV’s offer the cargo space that the Expedition does at 131 cubic feet. This vehicle gets lots of attention on the road due to its imposing good looks. It looks a bit truck-like from the front due to its square front and has a distinct chrome grille. Ford St Louis dealer Dave Sinclair carries a large selection of cars such as the Flex, Fusion, Ranger, Mustang and F150 in MO.

Most SUV’s are pretty big but the Expedition is even bigger than most weighing in at over 5,000 pounds. Horsepower stands at 310 hp and torque is at 365 lb feet; more than enough to carry the hefty auto around thanks to an eight cylinder 5.4 Liter engine. The Expedition’s strong point is its towing abilities; it can tow up to 9,200 lbs. There is even a trailer sway option which helps to keep the trailer stabilized on the road.

The seats are super comfortable with plenty of room even for tall individuals. The dashboard and instrument clusters are laid out well and easy to use. Ford’s SYNC system does not come standard on the base model but can be added at a cost.

A large number of safety mechanisms are in place including AdvanceTrac with Roll Stability Control, six airbags and rain sensor wipers which start working immediately when it detects rain or snow. A SOS Post Crash Alert System is in place which activates the horn and turns on the emergency lights if the vehicle is involved in an accident. Standard traction control adjusts engine power and braking during critical moments in order to maintain control. A keyless entry pad is also available; this system allows you to open the doors without having to use a key; all you need to do is enter a security code.

If you are looking for a solid SUV that has strong towing capacity then take a closer look at the Expedition. It also offers a large amount of space to store all of your sporting goods or whatever else you would like. Pricing for the 2011 model starts at $37,070

Mileage is one of the factors that many consumers consider foremost when purchasing a new vehicle. Not only is gas expensive but emissions are also harmful to the eco system. Luckily auto makers are concentrating on their efficient models and vehicles are constantly being improved. Let’s take a look at two top efficient autos; the Ford Fusion hybrid and the Buick Lacrosse with EAssist.

When it comes to appearances the Fusion hybrid looks contemporary, edgy and even a bit on the sporty side. However, it’s the mileage which gets us excited; it receives 41 mpg on the freeway and 36 mpg for city driving. If you like video games you will love the SmartGauge system which makes driving efficiently as fun as a game; you get rewarded with cool graphics on the display according to your driving habits. Another cool feature is Ford’s Sync system which allows you to keep your hands on the wheel while you change up your music or make a phone call; everything is controlled by voice.

Since this vehicle is a hybrid it uses both an electric and traditional motor. The traditional engine consists of a 2.5 Ltr four cylinder engine and the electric motor is powered by a 275 volt battery. Horsepower is pretty decent at 194 HP and allows this car to go from 0-60 in just 9 seconds which is pretty fast for a hybrid. The only drawback is that cargo space is a bit tight at 11.8 cubic feet.

Another winner when it comes to fuel economy is the all new 2012 LaCrosse which is manufactured by Buick. This auto will use eAssist and is expected to get an impressive 37 mpg on the highway and 25 mpg in the city. The LaCrosse is not officially labeled a “hybrid” but it will utilize a few of the same systems that hybrids do. In order to save on fuel the engine will automatically shut down when the car is stopped plus regenerative braking is also in place. The auto will be equipped with a 15 kw motor which will power the engine.

What will set the new LaCrosse apart from the rest of the efficient cars is that it’s larger in size and easily seats five adults. The interior is luxurious and roomy; the backseats are particularly roomy. Ice blue ambient lighting is in place which lights up the cabin at night. The rich leather seats are comfortable and easy to sink into plus they are adjustable.

Standard features include the ability to enter without a key, a climate control system, a leather wrapped steering wheel. The buyer gets to select from three models CX, CXL and CXS. The upper level CXS trim offers sweet features such as a 11 speaker Harmon Kardon system, temperature controlled seats and rear parking assist.

gmc St Louis offers a large selection of GMC, Buick, Ford and Lincoln cars at great prices in MO.

Solid materials provide the interior with a modern and inviting look. The navigation system makes use a control knob which is located in the center of the dashboard. The only minor drawback is that cargo space for the sedan is a bit small at fourteen cubic feet.

Safety has been thoroughly addressed by engineers with the inclusion of a variety of advanced features. Vehicle Stability Assist adjusts pressure to the brakes in case of oversteer or understeer situations. Four-wheel anti-lock brakes aid in maintaining control during hard brakes. A Tire Pressure Monitoring system lets you know when pressure needs to be adjusted. The Accord was designed with an Advanced Compatibility Engineering structure which works to distributes the crash energy over a large area and away from occupants in the case of an accident. An air bag system consisting of front side, front and side curtain bags is in place and utilizes a clever Occupant Detection System to halt the bags from being activated if a small child is seated in order to avoid potential injury. During safety crash tests conducted by the IIHS, the 2010 Accord sedan garnered top points in frontal, side and rear impact crash testing.
