Are you sick and tired of seeing gas costs continue to increase to where they are almost $4 a gallon? The oil giants are becoming wealthier and wealthier by the day, while you have to struggle more and more to fill up your tank, which you probably have to do to put bread on the table. What if there existed another way, a superior way, for you to power your car or truck?

Because of the potentially damaging impact on oil profits, a lot of promising choices have not got beyond the testing phase. Any time you check out your gas gauge, you are almost certainly wishing there was a better way to run your car. A most likely fantasy is cars that run on water – and there have been ads on the web not long ago for exactly that. A terrible joke – or perhaps actuality? This is really a possibility being pursued by car manufacturers, with future vehicles being powered by hydrogen which proceeds from water.

We have all observed the devastating result of the power of uncontrolled water, so it’s no stretch to picture water pressure being used to convert hydrogen and oxygen. This isn’t just some far-away dream, but is already a reality, despite the fact that these cars haven’t been presented to the public, yet. It took more than twenty years of development before the electric car was ready for widespread sales to the public. Right now, there is more than a year’s waiting list for the Smart Car of America, which runs only on electric energy. There is undoubtedly a need to get rid of fuel cars for those that run on something different.

Once upon a time fuel was a cheap type of energy for the car, and natural gas for the household. Pollution from gas has gotten out of control, while consumers of both kinds have had to pay increasing prices. Environmentalists get picked on a lot, however if it wasn’t for their studies on emissions, our air would be a lot worse than it is. They ensured that the world’s supply of air and water stayed relatively clean, but had to endure name-calling and ridicule in the process. We have these people to be grateful for thinking of adding ethanol to gas to make it run cleaner. However, already astronomical oil prices keep climbing and more has to be done, especially because most of our oil is sourced from abroad. Which will change the FACTORING industry.

If a car that runs on hydrogen and the burning of oxygen started to be a reality, that would diminish our dependence on foreign oil suppliers and possibly produce that blissful state where we didn’t need them at all. It must sound like something from beyond the realms of practicality, but exactly how good would it be if a car ran on simple tapwater? Automobiles that can run on hydrogen are already being experimented on by both Ford and Chevy. Years into the future, whenever their hydrogen-driven vehicles are finally released, the waiting list will probably be miles long.
